Huber Blacktop was founded in Warren County in 1956 by Theodore Huber. He initially started in the coal hauling business & would manually offload railroad cars onto a single axle dump truck with a couple helpers & deliver to local businesses to use for heating of their buildings/facilities.

Theodore “Ted” then evolved into doing some local asphalt patching & paving work.   In 1971 his son Earl “Spike”  Huber purchased Huber Blacktop & tackled more sizable paving projects with the help of some new paving equipment purchases.  Work done then included new constructions of many asphalt streets in Pleasant Twp. as development within the township became prevalent. 

Currently, Huber Blacktop Co. LLC is a 3rd generation owned family business.  Daryl Huber purchased the business from Earl “Spike” & Linda Huber in 2015 .  Daryl graduated from Robert Morris College in 2001 with a BSBA & immediate took up full time employment helping run the paving crew & other day to day operations.  Huber Blacktop Co. LLC continues some growth within the pavement industry segment especially due to the strong work ethic of it’s employees & management as well as being very conscious of the objective to obtain positive & desirable outcomes on all of the jobs they do for their customers.
